How we are working to be Greener....

At Alltrade, we believe in the power of conscious choices and their impact on the environment. We are committed to taking steps to make our factory and products more environmentally friendly, because we understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. We understand that it is a constant struggle to become 100% green but we are dedicated to make the best choices that we can to reduce our carbon footprint and the mark we will leave on the earth.

 

Solar Energy

 

 

In 2023 we installed a thousand solar panels on our factory roof. This helps to offset our reliance of imported power which has allowed us produce our products in a much more eco-friendly way.

Carbon Capture

 

 

Our paper is Carbon Captured. This means that the amount of CO2 that is generated through the production and distribution of the paper is calculated and captured by planting trees with that Trust's Woodland Carbon Scheme. It has been calculated that 25m2 of native UK woodland will capture and store one tonne of CO2 and create new native woodland. Over time this will remove hundreds of thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.  

 

FSC

We make sure that all of the paper that we use is FSC certified. This means that every sheet of paper we buy and use comes from responsible and sustainable sources. By doing this, we are supporting the UK's leading conservation charity and helping our environment. 

Veg Inks

 

We use vegetable inks that are a much more eco-friendly choice in printing. By doing this we don't contribute to the manufacturing and wastage of chemical oils which damage our planet.

 

Made In Britain

 

All of our products are designed, printed and fully manufactured in the UK. By doing this we are reducing transportation and therefore creating less pollution in our world. This also allows us to be apart of the Made In Britain initiative where British companies help each other, as well as our economy.

We also strive to minimise waste throughout our supply chain and packaging processes. We use recyclable and biodegradable materials whenever possible, ensuring that our products have a minimal impact on the environment.
